I have been married for 9 years to J. R. Stoner, who I met on Match.com! I do not have children, but we made up for it by having 5 cats and 1 fiesty wire fox terrier. After many years in the Legal field as an attorney and paralegal (while living in the midwest) I moved back to Redding in 1997. Five years ago I began work at the California Department of Transportation as the Claims Officer and Legal Support for District 2, which consists of the seven northern counties in the State (excluding Humboldt County). I handle claims for damages that occur on State Highways throughout the District - investigating accidents and providing support to State attorneys in Sacramento when "Caltrans" is sued. I love my job! My husband is a musician and computer engineer, he is the I.T. Officer at Pre-Employ in Anderson. We live in Redding, and all of my siblings also live nearby. My parents, former coaches/teachers at West Cottonwood Elementary School, are still living in Redding also.
